Book Review: Love To Hate You by Anna Premoli

Can your worst enemy become the love of your life? Jennifer and Ian have known each other for seven years. They are leaders of two different teams in the same London bank, and are constantly engaged in a running battle to be number one. Ian is a handsome, wealthy and sought-after bachelor; Jennifer is a feisty, independent lawyer. When they are thrown together to work on the same project, Ian makes Jenny an offer she can't refuse; to have free reign of their rich client if she pretends to be his girlfriend. Soon, it becomes more and more difficult to tell the difference between fiction and reality...

I can't say this book wasn't stressful at all with the amount of times Jennifer and Ian fought like cat and dog, however, the fighting is definitely entertaining!

Jennifer is an independent woman and works hard to be where she is and she never wants anything handed to her on a silver platter, unlike her co-worker Ian. Ian is a royal, therefore, he has whatever type of life he wishes for.

Jennifer and Ian are unable to work with each other due to recent fights which have actually gotten physical once. After Jennifer got the position Ian was hoping for, Ian made it his mission to make everyday of Jenny's life a living hell. Unfortunately for them, Jenny's most recent client wants both of them, meaning they have to learn to cope with each others existence.

Ian is very well known for dating women who do nothing with their life except party and use daddy's credit card. Ian finally had enough of the women chosen for him just for the fact that they were rich and needed a way out. After a few meet ups after work, Ian asks Jenny to be his fake girlfriend and in return she can have this client all to herself. Hesitant at first, Jenny ends up taking the offer and gets herself muddled up in a love story she refuses to acknowledge.

Jennifer is such a strong female character who knows how to stand her ground. She's extremely well spoken and smart and know's exactly what she wants in life. She is a rather stubborn woman and doesn't know when to let go of things, she has to be the one in control and her upbringing could be part of that as her parents are very opinionated. Jenny's parents despise royalty and so does her brother, as he has had a bad experience with one. Ian is incredibly charming and knew exactly who he wanted at the end, I sometimes felt sorry for Ian as he was trying to resolve things with Jenny and she was having absolutely none of it.

Love To Hate You is a very entertaining book and you'll find yourself giggling a lot at the quarrels throughout this book. Anna's writing flows so nicely throughout this making it an easy read and I'll definitely be checking out more of her books!
